Rainy Day

About this time of year, I can usually be found around my garden waiting for the little green sprouts to appear on the hydrangeas, lilacs, roses and just about anything that has gone away for winter. I can also be seen watching the clock around 5ish and wondering if it is staying light out later in the day. What can I say, I am a big fan of spring!

This past monday was rainy, and I was a bit antsy. I opened the recent Elle magazine to help pass the uneasiness and to my surprise, I was quickly transformed. This was the ad that got me smiling.

I wanted to photoshop myself right in between these perfect people. The advertisment just called me in. Maybe it was the lovely lace against the rock wall, maybe it was the gorgeous women beautifully dressed, or maybe it was the men in their classic simplicity with crisp white tees and trousers. I am certain that the sun kissed tans and the beautiful fabrics were speaking to me.

Once again, no words, just beautiful fabrics and accessories (they make me swoon). I am loving the pleated skirts and the vibrant colors for spring (this is coming from someone who dresses in beige and cream).

This page was such a breath of fresh air! So soft, so feminine.

Next, I opened the Marie Claire Maison October issue and was instantly motivated by these photos.

I can hardly wait to get to the store and move things around!
