The Tenth Day of Christmas!

Posted on: Tuesday, December 23, 2014

When we first placed this vintage set of lockers in the store, we knew it reminded us of something. Blame it on the fact we were knee deep in tent-pee making and holiday decorating, but it finally dawned on us--it's an advent calendar! And so, we are opening one door per day to reveal the treasures inside. Ho ho ho and fa la la la, here is our annual Ten Days of Christmas:
Day One: Flannels!

Day Two: Jewelry!

Day Three: Holiday Decor!

Day Four: Oil Paintings!

Day Five: Vintage Chairs!

Day Six: Coffee Table Books!

Day Seven: Souvenirs!

Day Eight: Holiday Dresses!

Day Nine: Pillows!

Day Ten...

Bags, backpacks, purses!

Backpacks for travel & purses to look pretty makes going home for the holidays a little less gritty. Ten days of merry and ten days of bright, as we look around our store--oh, what a sight!

Be the hostess with the mostest or show off your unique, wow-em look, none of our holiday dresses really play by the book. Try one in velvet or one with some sparkle instead--wither way, pull out your lipstick (we recommend a bold red!).

Coffee Table Books!
Nothing keeps company occupied like a coffee table book, both adult and child will be silent while they look. This gives you time to rest, or just some peace and quiet while you cook.

Vintage Chairs!
If you were a chair, just which kind would you be? A strong carpenter's stool or one surrounded by books and some tea? Or perhaps one sat at the table awaiting family, all pressed and ready to ring in the jubilee?

Oil Paintings!
Though we sometimes find expression through some oils and a brush, most of our attempts end up looking like mush. Leave the painting to the professionals and give the gift of oils--a well written note on a handcrafted card expresses your heart without wasting your toils.
