This morning, we are excited to delve into two recently discovered publications: the Weekend Almanac and the Collective Quarterly. Always on the hunt for new magazines sprouting up on shelves, these two are definitely subscription worthy.
The Weekend Almanac | Issue 1+2
An independently published lifestyle biannual curated in the San Francisco Bay Area, the editors reach out to artists, writers, designers, and photographers who offer their weekend pursuits. Warning: from record listening to day adventures to good eats, reading it will leave you itching for the weekend, we suggest waiting til Thursday.
The Collective Quarterly | Issue 0
Each issue follows select craftspeople to an offbeat location. For their first issue, they traveled to Marfa, Texas--a small artist's town near the border. After reading this artfully informative narration of the town, the people and its surroundings, it was all we could do not to jump in the car and head east...who's with us?!
